Here we are group. I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday. We are back in Semester two of this academic year, your final semester at the HCT.
To get a better look at whop is doing what, I have created this blog for you. For today I have two tasks for you.
1) Create an account here in blogger.com.
2) Come back to this blog and write a response to the following points:
a) Introduce yourself and describe your role in the class project
b) Say specifically what "you" have done to help the class thus far
c) Say what you need to do in the next couple of months
d) List three challenges that you think the group is facing now
REMEMBER: There will also be a second self-evaluation at the end of this semester. Please remember that this form will be used as part of your grade.
Best of luck to all of you. If you need revisions on the paper please do this as we go along and don't hand me a 10 000 word paper to visit in a day or two. I need time in advance.

i'm omar Mohamed Alzaabi . My job is to designe a website for the project. I have a lot of works need to be done next months . the first challange in the the project should be finished before the end of the year.

* We are 4 groups & me is one of the leaders
I helped each class mate in his job even if it was a littel advice or thing to help them.
Exactly what was my mine job in calss is to have another idea for the shreder and each leader did that too.
In the coming months My job as a leader was changed from the shreder to make the Oven for the plastic.
One of the challanges is to make the Oven (>.<)
Second one is to run the shreder
Third challenge is to do the job in the workshop during the holyday
My name is Majed Hasan and I’m one of the two group writers (writing the final report).
ReplyDeleteAs a report writer in my group I tried or work as possible to do my job and get rid of a big part of the final report. I also, tried to work and do my best to work with my group in the workshop and we work as a team to complete the project. So far, we are working in the shredder which is one of the most important parts in our project of making an automated plastic recycling machine and we hope that we finish it as soon as possible.
Mostly, during next couple months I will try to focus with my mate Ahmed to write more and more in the report to make it ready and powerful at the end. Furthermore, I will not forget my group in the workshop and I will try to work with them to finish the APRM as soon as possible.
some challenges :
1.Align the shredder shaft to get rid of the noise and the vibration.
2.Finishing the other parts of the project because of the time.
3.Finding the parts needed for the project like the oven, the motor and the conveyer.

ReplyDeleteas a groub. Each of us help the other in a fantastic way. The project is about recylicng many form of plastic. Our samll groub is responsilbe of doing the blades. So far we made a lot of expirements to find the appropriate material , so yes the Carbon Steel is our material. in the next couple of months , i am aiming to finish the shredder as soon as possible , so i can help the other groubs . As far as i can tell , we dont face a lot of challenges recently except that some of the needed materials are not avialable in the stock so we have to find out similar materials which are look a like the meterial that we need , but actually its way diffrent in characteristics , so that is the real challege for us.
My name is Mohammed Omar and my role in the class project is to work with my team to make a plastic shredder.
ReplyDeleteI have helped my friend with their competition in Dubai which was about plastic recycling. Also, I have worked in the pressing and fixing the motor.
For the next months we need to fix the tank that we use to put the plastic cups inside to be shredded. Furthermore, we need to melt the cups to shape it and make a good use of it. In the end we will need to program the whole process using PLC.
We have faced many problems such as the alignment of the motor with the shaft that is used to spine the shredder.
a) Im Mohammed Abdul Rahman AL neami. My job is working in electricity system for the recycling plastic project. Also, I will make an electrical circuits for this project.
ReplyDeleteb) I had done many things with our group. I wrote some notes about the plastic in the past. Also, I did a research with my group about temperatures sensors to know everything deeply about the heat system.
c) I will need to work very hard to be relaxed after recieve the certificate. Also, I will get the advises and information from the teachers to get more experience that helps me in the future.
d) The first challenge the faced the group is the working in the workshop in the holidays and weekend. The second one is how snd when to start our project. Third one is studying and working in the project at the same time.
My name is Ahmed Musabbeh Al Nuaimi. In our project we all work as a team so if someone is late or had some problem we are don't stop the work because we put another one instead of him to do his job. In the first devided of 4 groups in our team I was a leader of one group and we supposed to make the shreder blades. So far we made a lot of expirements to find the best material to make the blades. Eventualy we chosed Carbon Steel which we believed that is the most appropriate one. In the next couple of month I want to finish any job that givien to me and I want to feel that I am an acctive student in my class. We face some challenges in our project. For example we are running out of time, some components are not available in the UAE and we should find alternative component and remake it to be useful. Moreover we had to come to the workshop during the holiday.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Nawaf Ahmed Al Marei. I am in the final course (6TA) at the college so it still 88 days only. I sponserd from ADNOC (GASCO) company so after that I will go to my company (GASCO). I am the final project leader and my role is everyone should follow the my time table. Moreover, I did and I will do the best to finish our project despite of many friends are absents. We are still in the first step which is in shredding so I hope in some next days the shredding will run. Furthermore, if all my friends work as a team I hope we can finish our project as soon as possible.
ReplyDeleteThere are many challenges that facing our group and I will give some examples of them. First of all, there are some of them do not care about the project. Secondly, in the shredding we need alot of alignemnts to make our device works more comfortable. Finaly, we face alot of difficulty when we want to found the correct tools and equipments for example we took alot of time maybe two months when we need to found the high speed motor .

first challeng that i thing we faced is to find the idea of the project we and the second challeng is how we will design it and recently me and my groub to design the oven that fit in the project
My name is Taleb Alharbi, I`m studying in RKMC final semester 6TA (Mechtronics). In our final year we must do project to graduate, our project is about recycling plastic. We do our best to finish this project in very high quality. Everyone in the class has a job to do, Nawwaf is the leader who makes a schedule plan to do the work and finish our job in time. My job is to buy the equipment that we need it on our project; furthermore I work with me friends and help him in our work.

ReplyDeleteThe things I did to help the team so far are making a lot of work in the workshop to fix the motor. And also I did some work in the website. And also coming early and don’t be absent.
I need to do more work with the website to look more professional and also to add more photos. And in the workshop I need to be more helpful.
1. Time is the first challenge they will face and they have to carry on.
2. The second challenge they will face I think is the part that are not available hear and they have to order them from the internet.

First of all, my name is Ahmed Hasan AL zaabi and my role in this project is very big because I am writing the report for the project and working in the work shop at the same time. In addition I always provide some ideas for the project & I also aided the team in the workshop.
ReplyDeleteActually, in that period I did numerous actions like I wrote the report and did some blades and assisted our team.
For the next couple of months I hope to put more effort to accomplish our work & hopefully the students cooperate together to complete our work.
The challenges that we will face:
1)The students absents it is the big challenges because we need their efforts in this time.
2)The parts it is the second challenge because there is no available parts so we have to find them in the Dubai.
3)The final challenge is we don’t know how to align the shaft.
I'm Saud AlShehhi. I'm the machinest in our project. I used two different machine and I learned how to use them correctly.

In the next couple of months I will try to finished and check the powerpoint slides because I'm in charge with this.
I hope we finished it on time because It is the only fear for my group. But in my point of view the attendece is more important for me. I will try to do our best.
